Its Not About Money, It’s About Power

It amazes me when otherwise intelligent people who follow elections, listen to speeches, support their party, believe in the Constitution, and are proud of their American heritage, take everything they hear and see as gospel and deny that this great nation is in danger of being “taken down” and destroyed.

Yet, an unknown author (a historian) has this to say: “Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for ten or fifteen years. And the pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.”

He has not put that evolvement into words, but you know them as well as I do: the Federal Reserve loans out trillions of dollars but will not tell us to whom. Our schools are being dumbed down and American history is ignored. We allow unelected judges to write laws that radically affect our lives. Our mortgage industry is collapsing, the housing business is a disaster. Major industries are failing. Or banking system is foundering, and our entire government is nearly bankrupt.

And finally, we have a president who no one really knows anything about. Except that most people DO know that he “the man of change” is taking us in a direction that is economically, politically, socially, and culturally far from America’s values, principles traditions, and history. But commonsense tells us that no one man, however bright and clever he may be, can single-handedly do what Obama is doing to our country. Thus—as many people are beginning to discover---there may well be an obscure group of elite, extremely wealthy, internationally-connected individuals, mostly bankers, who care little for America’s welfare, but whose agenda is nothing less than a financial “conquest” of the world. Not one or two countries… the world!

If this is so-- and I believe it is - what more can they want? They already control much of America’s wealth; so why in God’s name do they want more?

And right here is where the great majority of Americans are ignorant of their true goal. That goal is POWER. They may need the money to access more power, but money is not the objective.

But why, people will ask, does power have such a hypnotic influence on this malevolent elite? How much power is enough? For the answer to that question I refer the reader to a quote from page 234 of George Orwell’s frightening book, 1984:

“The Party seeks power entirely for it’s own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness; only power, pure power. We know that no one ever seeks power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one make the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me.”
